Community Colleges play a significant role in the life of students. Professors are consistently available to students for counseling and tutoring. Whether during class, after class, or office hours, many students take advantage of student teacher contact and interaction. Such interaction is invaluable to students in that they gain confidence in their interpersonal skills and academic ability. Reducing student anxiety and therefore fostering a positive learning environment is crucial to successful students. Faculty, then, are important motivators in the advancement of student progress.
