Donel Williams, Student
Chaffey College

Student Donel Williams

Many young students can relate to Donel Williams’ story. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in Rialto at the age of 17. He wasn’t sure he wanted to attend college, so he took a job at the local post office. Realizing this job wasn’t for him and that he wanted more, he took the advice of his mother and enrolled at Chaffey College.

“When I got here, I didn’t know what I wanted to do,” Williams said. “Chaffey has exposed me to so many things. I know now that I am heading in the right direction.” Williams has been a member of the The Breeze newspaper staff for two years and is now the editor in chief. He is also the president of the Associated Press Club. He enjoys English and journalism, but has focused his attention toward photography. His goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in English and then a Master of Fine Arts in photography. “I believe everyone should experience Chaffey College,” Williams said. “Chaffey is a great place to discover yourself.”
